Founded in 2000 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, PowerBuilt began as a national distributor of integrated material-handling solutions. Built on strong customer relationships and a reputation for dependable execution, the company has steadily evolved into a vertically integrated provider of custom automation and material-handling systems.

Today, PowerBuilt designs, manufactures, and installs automated and semi-automated custom equipment for automotive and general industry customers across the United States and Canada. Our solutions include lift assists, conveyors, robotics, and fully integrated automation systems—each engineered to improve workplace productivity, safety, and efficiency. Our in-house capabilities span mechanical and electrical engineering, fabrication and machining, assembly, field services, project management, and a nationally based sales organization.

In 2026, PowerBuilt entered an exciting new chapter by joining American Automation Group (AAG), an automation solutions platform backed by LFM Capital. Alongside AAG platform partners Southern Tooling and Tuttle, PowerBuilt benefits from deeper engineering resources, expanded automation capabilities, and a broader national footprint—enabling us to deliver more comprehensive solutions and support increasingly complex customer needs.
