Robotic End of Arm Tooling

Project Need:

  • Customer received business from an OEM resulting in a new robotic system.

  • Needed assistance with end of arm tooling for robots.

Solution:

  • Provided end of arm tooling for (2) robots.

  • Each tool was a minot replica (right and left hand sides)

  • Vacuum actuated tooling capable of piking (2) pieces of sheet meal simultaneously.

Features:

  • Each tool had (2) cylinder actuated smack down bars used for pressing parts into proper location before welding.
