Responsibilities for this position include:
Assembly of custom engineered tools based on assembly drawings, schematics, and diagrams provided by the engineering department
Testing of custom tools for functionality prior to shipping
Accurately following prints during assembly
Coordintating with different departments to ensure projects are being assembled on time and under budget
Maintain a clean work area/appearance
Coordinating and communicating with necessary departments to ensure projects are on time and under budget
Communicating resources needed to maintain and manage build schedule
Qualifications and skills required:
Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Required)

High school diploma (Required)
Ability to travel up to 5-10% (on an “as needed” basis)

Perform quality checks on various equipment prior to shipping
Create detailed installation plans for various equipment
Manage installation and commissioning of equipment onsite at customer’s location
Manage and train team of technicians for installations
Manage contracted onsite vendors
Act as a main point of contact during installations at customer locations
Maintain a clean work area/appearance in house and onsite for assemblies/installs
Communicate any issues/delays to appropriate parties
Have a clear understanding of scope to hold customers, vendors, and internal staff accountable

Electrical Drafter

Responsibilities for this position include:
Participate in the design process to support engineers, designers, and assemblers by contributing ideas & technical information as needed
Create rough sketches or diagrams of electrical systems on the fly
Collect, study and combine rough sketches, initial design ideas, and technical documentations into coherent technical drafts
Create accurate, detailed technical plans for electrical systems using computer-aided design programs to convert specifications, technical data, and design information from engineers into electrical drawing packages
Drawing packages include detailed documentation of:
System layouts, One-line diagrams, electrical schematics, panel layouts, equipment bill of materials, cable layouts, component lists, tag lists, tag details, build and assembly drawings details
Serve a lead Drafter on assigned projects
Creating and maintaining a standard database of circuits, electrical component symbols, bill of materials in drawings software using past drawings for future re-use
Adhere drawing templates and layouts to department standards
Modify standards as needed to meet customer specifications
Provide shop support as needed to help technicians in executing the assembly of equipment as it pertains to electrical drawings
Assist technicians and engineers with wiring verification and IO checkout
Travel within a 2-hour radius from PowerBuilt facilities
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills in a formal, and informal group environment
Ability to take notes and organize thoughts for dissemination to internal and external project team members
Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as component manuals, and equipment specification sheets for technical data, such as dimensions and wiring/connection details
Good working knowledge of electrical circuitry and panel design
Wire sizing, wire duct sizing, component spacing and layout criteria in panels
Certification in an Electrical drafting software such as: AutoCad, SolidWorks, Eplan -OR-
Associates degree in Electrical drafting or other relevant discipline

Run HURCO vertical CNC machine with conversational programming
Part quality verification
Completing cut lists with vertical and horizontal bandsaw
Run CNC lathe as required
Create material lists and submit to purchasing as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
Exposure to Microsoft Office & Excel
Baseline SolidWorks exposure is preferred
SolidWorks exposure preferred but not required
CNC Mill and/or lathe professional experience
Good written and verbal communication skills
Team player & quick learner with creative problem-solving skills
